Anything critical about the source material will be tagged hp critical and harry potter critical. If you haven't had those first four tags filtered, then I must be ticking an box or two in one of your DNIs, and you might want to turn back and block me. DNIs are supposed to go both ways after all.
"Well, JKR did say that the positive proliferation of her works is a sign that you support her views in secret and are afraid to speak it."
Yes she did say that, and I don't blame you if you don't want to touch HP for claim alone. Personally, I think she's in such an egotistical denial that fans of HP pan her views that she wants to believe that those decrying her support her in secret. Egotistic, abusive narcissists like Joanne don't want to believe that people hate them. They even want to believe that their detractors secretly like them and agree with them despite all evidence of the opposite. Alternatively, it could be her way of turning her detractors against each other. Because a abusive narcissistic would gaslight a trans woman for making her believe that her friend secretly agrees with her. However, that is my prerogative and I don't speak for anyone else (and before you ask, what money you want to spend on Official HP merch, donate it to a Trans Charity or spend it on fanmade HP merch created by an trans woman instead, the latter if you want merch bad enough. And no, DON'T even torrent that upcoming HBO Series, as I just learned that even torrents would get it renewed.)

Bottom line: for the record, I do believe that fiction can affect reality in regards how BIPOC, LGBT+, First Nations, Jews, Muslims, and disabled/neurodivergent/mentally ill people are portrayed in media and that those portrayals can affect the way the GP views those groups. However, the term "fiction does affect reality" isn't applicable to freaking fanfiction and videogames.

The past remembered today-ML/DC-AU Crossover
I have consumed too much ML / DC crossover content, so I decided to contribute a bit with an idea that came to me while taking a shower (the best ideas come when I take a shower).
It is about Hawkman (Katar Hol) and Hawkgirl (Shayera Hol) knowing the secret of the miraculous and kwamis since ancient times (we are going to establish it in the time of the Egyptian Ladybug), I will use the lore of DCAU Justice League Unlimited (JLU).
This is just a brief explanation of how this UA works. If you like it, leave some FeedBack, Reblog, and comment. Besides that, if you write something about this, add me in a tag.
Hawkman and Hawkgirl were worshiped as gods at that time due to their appearances, so they were relegated to emperors. Meaning that they had many servants and maidservants. With the time of his reign, Shayera and Katar became more distant, they were losing affection for each other, this turned when one of Katar's most loyal servants informed him that his wife, Shayera, was dating one of the Warriors.
In those times, Katar met two warriors, humans as powerful as he. Their names were, the cat warrior Sphinx, and the ladybug warrior Ruby Beatle (they are not canon).
Unknowingly, both warriors were servants of the palace where Katar and Shayera lived. The cat warrior worked as a village marketer, and the ladybug warrior worked inside the palace as a cleaner.
Things happen. Keter decides to keep an eye on those warriors, their powers caught his attention, but what caught his attention the most was the warrior Ruby Beatle. Besides that, they fought with creatures that Katar had never seen.
Over time, Katar and Shayera met other similar warriors, one with the theme of Bee, another with the theme of Goat, another with the theme of dog, and many more.
The thing is, Kater had no love for Ruby Beatle but considered her a good friend. Both in her warrior form and in her normal servant form, Ladybug was there to comfort Katar, for what was going on in his love life (not knowing that Katar was an alien sent to conquer the earth).
After some adventures told in Egyptian mythology, they met the Order of the Guardians and know the secrets of the miraculous, also knowing the identities of the warriors.
Chaos soon broke out as the events described in the episode The Pharaoh and the combination of the episode Shadow of the Hawk unfolded. Although Katar and Shayera helped the warriors stop the portal to the underworld from opening, Shayera lost her life to poisoning. After Katar killed himself with the same poison, the two warriors became the new rulers of Egypt.
Since then, Katar and Shayera, reincarnate for centuries meeting new versions of Chat Noir and Ladybug. Being friends again even though CN and LB don't remember/know them.
But there was a period of time when they did not find new versions of the miraculous holders until they discovered the destruction of the temple in Tibet. They searched, without anything more than being able to do, without anyone to help them, and without any clue, they could only find a book that contained part of the secrets of the miraculous (not the same as Master Fu).
Well, until the Justice League was formed, they met two Parisinian heroes who looked a lot like ... old friends.
And yea, this is inspired by the #Mominette au from@nobodyfamousposts

Another DC hero adapted to cartoon form by Filmation as a “guest star” for The Superman/Aquaman Hour of Adventure, Hawkman was the one character who underwent the most changes from his comic book stories.
The Silver Age Hawkman was Katar Hal, a police officer from the planet Thanagar who came to Earth with his wife, Shayera (Hawkgirl, later Hawkwoman), to study police methods.  Katar and Shayera adopted the secret identities of Carter and Shiera Hall, archaeologists and curators of the Midway City Museum.
In the cartoons he is just “Carter Hall, scientific genius from a far-off world” who works in a sprawling lab complex outside Midway City.  Carter shares the lab with Professor Barnes, who is also aware that his co-worker is Hawkman.
Tumblr media
There is no mention of Shayera, but in 1967 it was pretty rare for a superhero to be married.  Or maybe the artists at Filmation did not want to draw and animate female characters.  Besides Lois Lane in the Superman cartoons, Lana Lang in Superboy, Wonder Girl in the three Teen Titans cartoons, the occasional appearance of Mera in Aquaman, and a single female villain who faced Green Lantern, I can think of no other female characters appearing at all!
Tumblr media
So instead of Hawkgirl, we get a sidekick in the form of Skreal the Hawk to accompany Hawkman on his adventures (and before anyone takes me to task: yes, Hawkgirl/woman is Hawkman’s partner, NOT his sidekick).
Skreal is not your typical hawk: he understands English and obeys Hawkman’s commands (the cartoons never establish that Hawkman can “talk” to birds like Aquaman can “talk” to fish; Skreal is the only bird we ever see), he can smile, and he sounds like a seagull, not a hawk.
Tumblr media
Skreal’s handy against enemy aircraft.
Tumblr media
I think that gun barrel was stuck on with double-face tape.
Oh, and Skreal is lazy.  Very lazy.
Tumblr media
You may notice that half-glove on Hawkman’s right hand.  Unlike the medieval weapons he used in the comics (mace, crossbow, spear, etc.), this al-purpose weapon was created specifically for the cartoons.
Tumblr media
Like Space Ghost’s power bands, this claw fired a number of different rays, like the Repello Ray in use above, which was the ray Hawkman used most often.
Additionally, the claws were razor-sharp and able to slice through anything.
Tumblr media
I have no idea if this claws influenced the creation of a certain clawed Canadian mutant a few years later.
The half-glove was never given a name itself; Hawkman usually just announced (like Space Ghost) what beam or ray he was going to utilize.  I always thought this was a cool weapon for Hawkman to have, and was surprised that DC never gave a similar weapon to Hawkman in the comics.
It’s only my personal theory, but I believe this half-glove was the influence behind the creation of The Claw of Horus.
Tumblr media
The Claw of Horus first appeared in JSA #22 (2003) and saw limited use for the next few years before disappearing from the comics after the Blackest Night crossover event.  It was a weapon created from Nth metal by the sorcerer Nabu and given to Hawkman to use.
Another weapon that Hawkman had in the cartoons but lacked in the comics is indestructible wings.  He uses the wings several times to protect himself from enemy weapons fire.  Which begs the question: why didn’t he construct a full suit out of the same material as the wings to protect himself?
Tumblr media
The cartoons granted Hawkman a power that he did not have in the comics: radar vision.  This was a type of x-ray vision that allowed Hawkman to see through solid objects.
Tumblr media
Here Hawkman uses his radar vision in one of the Justice League of America cartoons to locate Superman who is hidden in a room constructed of kryptonite.
One element from the comics that the cartoons kept was Hawkman’s orbiting spaceship.  However, the folks at Filmation greatly improved the sip’s design.
Here’s how it appears in the comics:
Tumblr media
Yeah, that’s not a very inspired design.  In fact it looks like Hawkman borrowed this puppy from Green Arrow and just slapped on a new paint job.
Now feast your eyes on the spaceship from the cartoons:
Tumblr media
Sleek, elegant, and resembling a bird in flight, this is a much superior design.
Tumblr media
I remember as a kid wishing someone would release a model kit or toy of this spaceship.  I still do to this day.
Of course, inside it was little less elegant:
Tumblr media
Hawkman is steering the ship with controls that very strongly resemble the differentials that are used to steer tanks and other tracked vehicles.  I should know, because I drove tracked vehicles for 2 1/2 years while working for my Uncle.  Those controls just don’t lend themselves to spaceships.  But hey, that’s how things work in cartoons.
Hawkman was featured in three 7-minute solo cartoons, as well as appearing in the three Justice League of America cartoons.  Filmation had plans for more series featuring additional DC characters (including a Wonder Woman cartoon), as well as continuing the omnibus format of The Superman/Aquaman Hour of Adventure.  However, all those plans went out the window when CBS (the network that was airing the show) acquired the animation rights to Batman in 1968.  Batman was still wildly popular because of the live-action show, so CBS had Filmation drop all their plans and focus on producing Batman cartoons, and we got The Batman/Superman Hour.
Hawkman wouldn’t be seen on the screen again for 10 years, finally appearing in Super Friends in 1977.
ADDENDUM: thanks to @roguetelemetry for pointing out that the Buck Rogers in the 25th Century television show totally ripped-off Hawkman’s spaceship design for the character Hawk.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
That’s pretty blatant to my eyes.
I never realized this because I never watched the Buck Rogers show.  I tried an episode but it was so bad I was gone by the first commercial break.  Pretty much my reaction to any show produced by Glen A. Larson.  I guess the daily re-runs of Star Trek: The Original Series spoiled me.
The semi-good news is that the is a model kit available of Hawk’s ship available at monster in motion.  The bad news is the kit costs $110.00.  Had I the cash and the skill, I would be inclined to get the kit so that I could modify it into Hawkman’s ship.
But perhaps that’s a project for one of you more enterprising souls out there.

Top 5 DC characters and top 5 marvel characters
DC is a lot easier for me than Marvel because I’m not really a Marvel Girl or anything? I have liked some Marvel stuff but I’m not like, super into the universe of it lately, I dunno.
Top 5 DC Characters:
1. I mean........ Shayera Thal. Duh. DUH. You knew that was coming. I’m a little surprised anyone even asked this question at all because this was really obviously going to be part of my answer! Shayera Thal was the first character I ever was like, a Serious Fan of, I think? Maybe with the exception of Dr Crusher on TNG, which like... makes it, I guess, very obvious that I have a Type and that Type is “sad pushy redheads”, but who cares.
2. Scandal Savage, living my dream of a nonmonogamous marriage to TWO sad, pushy redheads! Also, I dunno, relateable Evil Dad feelings abound there, whatever, it’s a whole thing
3. Amanda Waller, just... fuckin every time she shows up in anything it brings me so much joy. I love a woman character who is just like, able to be pure calculation and planning and just overwhelming, staggering competence that fucks up everyone’s day. I love that that woman is Amanda Waller. I love her role in the DCU, I love how unapologetic she is, she’s just a great character.
4. Kendra Saunders, notable Soft Girl and my precious daughter. Like - I dunno, listen, it took me a long time to really come around to Kendra! She came along after Shayera basically and I resented that for a while but she’s ultimately a great character in her own right, a good way of reintroducing Hawk mythos stuff through this fresh and super relateable point of view character, I dunno. I basically really embraced her just in time for her to be killed off and I’m still fucked up about it.
5. Harvey Dent, maladjusted trauma victim. I have so many complicated feelings about Harvey Dent, he’s one of those characters who I am often frustrated because I feel like writers don’t “get” him at all, they bring him up a lot when they want to write a story about Crazy People and it’s just clear that no one who does that understands anything about mental illness or trauma or like, the treatment of those things... I dunno. I was always mad about how his reformation was established in a really interesting way in Hush, and then basically undone very shortly after, because Harvey Dent is honestly just a much more interesting character than Two-Face and NO ONE seems to appreciate that, or it’s not convenient for the kinds of stories they need to tell with those characters, I dunno. Harvey Dent and Scandal Savage and me go to the same Fucked Up Dads Support Group. Shayera’s invited but she never shows up.
Honorable mention goes to John Stewart, my favorite Green Lantern (who honestly maybe ties with Harvey but I just also not read as much stuff with John as I have with Harvey, so), and obviously Katar Hol, but I’m too mad about Death Of Hawkman to put Katar Hol down right now, I dunno.
Top 5 Marvel characters:
1. Wanda Maximoff (Jewish/Romani Wanda Maximoff, not Olsen Sister Wanda Maximoff), my feelings about Wanda are complicated but when it comes down to it I would die on a battlefield for her.
2. Uh... this is a little embarrassing maybe but Kitty Pryde? I want to say that I like Kitty Pryde the same way I like Hawkworld as a series - with the constant, infuriating knowledge that very, very few writers actually get the story/character/etc. Also I feel weird about this because while Kitty Pryde was really obviously a cipher character for me as a young woman, she has ALSO historically just been kind of the repository for a lot of dude writers’ weird hangups about women, and that’s, uh, uncomfortable for me.
3. Storm, forever the coolest X-Man, 80′s comic book fashion icon, perpetually done wrong by writers but always in my heart.
4. Dr. Doom actually? I have a whole thesis about this but it’s weird so I’ll spare you.
5. Toss-up between X-23 (with whom I share a name actually and that was kind of a big deal for me when I was a teenager? I dunno, the stories with her then were also SUPER inappropriate and weird but I was into it which honestly says a lot about where I was at in terms of... stuff... ) and Karolina Dean of the Runaways series.
Anyway this took me forever! Sorry about that!

by Wilson101
Being pregnant again was not on Vicki Vale's agenda, not when she's raising five boys and has to take care of her sister's children that she bas to take care of. Trying to keep the pregnancy from the father of her child, Bruce Wayne, wont be easy when she has to interview him at a charity event. But when she throw ups on Jack Ryder's shoes while in mid conversation, there's not much left to hiding it now. Vicki then suddenly find's herself living in Wayne Manor with the kids and learning along the way what it truly means to be a family, oh and visits from alternate reality characters does not help.

The Past Remembered Today-AU-ML/DC Crossover, part 2?
This is a second part? From The Past Remembered Today Crossover. How Hawkman met the new Chat Noir and Ladybug. Shayera does not go as she is on a date with John Stewart.
Before, I will have to put a list of ML episodes to form a timeline (first season).
Origins part 1 and 2
Stormy weather
The Bubbler--Point where they meet
Lady Wifi
CopyCat
Mr. Pigeon
The Pharaoh
Horrificator
RogerCop
Darkblade
The Gamer
Reflekta
Timebreaker
Simon Says
Volpina
The collector
The Befana
Kung Food
EvilLustrator
Vanisher
Riposte
Captain hardrock
Syren
I also have to state that this is a separate story from the Mominette AU stories of @nobodyfamousposts
It must be said first, that when Katar found a copy of the miraculous book when he was still an archaeologist, he took his time to study and decode the book. So he has a vast knowledge about the potions and spells that affect the miraculous, as well as their powers, and how they hide their identities (That will help Master Fu a lot).
Katar learned about the new Parisian heroes since the Origins episodes, but at that time he was still recovering his memories of his past lives, in addition to continuing to search for Shayera, also Joining the Justice League.
After the Stormy Weather episode, Hawkman began to have a feeling similar to suspicion about the heroes of Paris. Starting to have dreams of them but with different shapes, different faces, and different genders, almost every night.
In a small meeting with the council of the strongest heroes of the JL, possible options of inviting (adopting) other heroes from different areas of the world were put to a vote. Hawkgirl putting her options in the background, being the new heroes of Paris, giving Hawkman a little more intrigue.
That's it for today, this is literally after I took a shower so don't be mad.
